Center Your Spirit

Center your spirit and get to know yourself first and foremost in order to know which direction in life you truly want to head in.

Center Your Spirit

I'll keep this short.

This first step in the path to self mastery is pretty self explanatory.

You truly can not know what to do in life unless you know who YOU are first and foremost.

So what's the first step?

Silence your mind and center your spirit and ask yourself a few very important questions:

  • What do I want in life more than anything?
  • What would I do for the rest of my life if money wasn't an issue?
  • What does my ideal lifestyle look like?

Once you answer these questions...

You're going to have to do a bit of planning. Now you have to come up with pathways to attain your desired outcome in life and the first step again, like I mentioned, is pretty self explanatory. You have to center your spirit and know. This means the following:

  • Silence your doubts
  • Believe in yourself
  • Keep your focus on the present moment
  • Don't forget to breathe
  • Love yourself and your current state
  • Be mindful of your daily growth and appreciate the little things

The reason why these things are so important is this:

If you don't have your spirit centered, it can be easy to be thrown off course, disappointed, angered or upset.

"Don't let anger cloud your reasoning."

That is the main reason why most people give up their dreams and never look back. If your spirit is not centered and at peace in this very present moment you are existing in, it's all too easy to get sucked into the distractions and desires of the world and once that happens, you might lose balance and fall out of line with where you are going. The only way to avoid losing yourself and your progress is to keep your spirit satisfied. Here are some great techniques to help you do that:

  1. Write daily updates of your life in a journal
  2. Remind yourself of all the things you are grateful for
  3. See the best in other people, even if you have to try
  4. Meditate and silence your thoughts for long periods of time. Be in the now.
